Announcing The HGR League

Home Grown and Raptors Lacrosse merged on September 1^st and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

To make the merger official, we are excited to announce the launch of the HGR (Home Grown and Raptors) Lacrosse League beginning with the winter league and for all leagues thereafter.

Last winter, Home Grown and Raptors Lacrosse had over 60 teams between the two leagues. This year registration will be limited to 50 teams using the following structure:

 

HGR Lacrosse Winter League = 50 teams

• 30 high school boys teams with 2 divisions
• 20 girls teams with 2 divisions

 

HGR Lacrosse Winter League

• One hour games
• 6 weeks of regular season play
  • You will play the first 6 weeks at your home facility (Turf Time in Tewksbury or Home Grown Lacrosse North Andover)
• 2 weeks of playoffs
  • #1 – #4 seeds will host games at their home facilities
  • #5 – #8 seeds will travel for their playoff games

 

Two Facility Format

• If you play in North Andover, you will be playing on Sundays at Home Grown Indoor Sports for the 6 week regular season.
• If you play in Tewksbury, you will be playing on Saturdays at Turf Time for the 6 week regular season.
• For the final two weeks of the league, you could play at either location on either day

 

All-Star Game

• 40 players will be selected for an all-star showcase (boys only).
• 4 all star teams will play in a round robin format
• Local college coaches will be in attendance

 

League Dates

• December 15^th – February 9^th @ Turf Time Tewksbury
• December 23^rd – February 10^th @ Home Grown Indoor Sports

$175 per player
